Now you’re ready for something bigger.The District Advisor (DA) role is built for experienced financial services leaders who want to move beyond managing and start building—with the ability to scale a business, develop leaders, and unlock uncapped growth potential.As a DA, you will operate as an independent business owner and registered principal, leading a team of financial advisors serving military families while driving the growth and performance of your own district.This is not a producing role. This includes:Leading and growing existing First Command-registered branch offices, including negotiating and holding leasesHiring, employing, and managing district staffManaging district operations and expenses, including allocating shared costs across advisorsOverseeing business planning, budgeting, and day-to-day operationsMaking financial investments to support growth and performance expectationsOwning the financial results of the district, including growth, expenses, and overall profitabilityWhat You’ll DoBuild and scale a high-performing advisor organizationRecruit and develop financial advisors who grow the businessDrive consistent performance across pipeline activity, production, and client outcomesCoach advisors to improve client acquisition, planning quality, and long-term successCreate a culture of accountability, growth, and professionalismLead as a registered principalProvide supervision and oversight of advisor activitiesReinforce a strong compliance and client-first cultureGrow your marketExpand your district through local business development and community relationshipsBuild long-term presence within the military and broader communityWho This Is ForThis role is designed for mid-career leaders who are ready to bet on themselves:You’ve led teams in financial services (branch, regional, or office leadership)You’re a builder, not someone looking to maintain the status quoYou want more control over your outcomes and earning potentialYou’re motivated by growth, scale, and long-term value creationYou’re comfortable operating with accountability, not a safety netRequired Skills Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred 7-10+ years in financial services; minimum 5 years in leadership roles Demonstrated success in recruiting, developing, and elevating high-performing advisor talent Experience and proven ability to lead teams in multi-office environments Active Series 6 or 7, Series 63/65 or 66, Life & Health Series 24 (or ability to obtain within 120 days) Professional designations preferred (CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, CLF®, RICP®) Military connection (direct or family) preferred
