Our client is seeking a Commodity Trading Grain and Feed Merchandiser to join their strong trading team. This role focuses on market engagement, relationship management, and disciplined execution while operating within established guidelines and risk parameters.ResponsibilitiesDrive trading activity within assigned commodities/territories to achieve solid financial resultsMonitor market drivers that influence pricing movementShare relevant market updates and activity with internal stakeholdersMaintain awareness of applicable trading rules and ensure full adherenceOperate within established guidelines, limits, and reporting expectations for all positions and resultsCoordinate efficient and cost-conscious movement of commoditiesBuild and maintain professional relationships with customers and suppliersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in agriculture business, economics, finance, or a related fieldTwo to four years of experience in commodity tradingAbility to maintain a positive approach and motivate othersWorking knowledge of commodity markets including futures and cash structuresUnderstanding of grain movement, transportation dynamics, and market opportunitiesAbility to manage customer relationships in a professional manner
