Job Title: Electrical ForemanJob DescriptionThe Electrical Foreman leads an electrical crew on commercial construction sites and ensures that all planning, layout, installation, and wiring activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project drawings, specifications, and applicable electrical codes.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a crew of electricians on commercial construction projects from start to finish.Plan and lay out electrical work according to project drawings, specifications, and applicable electrical codes.Interpret and work from electrical blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation.Oversee the installation and wiring of electrical components, systems, and equipment.Coordinate and execute electrical planning and layout for conduit runs and wiring paths.Perform and oversee conduit installation, including conduit bending, routing, and secure mounting.Ensure proper running of wires and conduit to meet design requirements and code standards.Monitor work quality and verify that all installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and project specifications.Organize daily tasks for the crew, assign responsibilities, and ensure productivity and adherence to schedules.Troubleshoot and resolve on-site electrical issues to keep projects on track.Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to report progress and address field conditions.Promote and enforce safe work practices for all crew members on site. Essential Skills5+ years of experience working as an electrician in commercial construction environments.Proven experience overseeing jobs and supervising crews of electricians.Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its application in commercial projects.Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical blueprints and schematics.Proficiency in electrical planning and layout for commercial installations.Hands-on experience with conduit installation, including conduit bending and routing.Demonstrated ability to run wires and conduit accurately and efficiently.Solid understanding of electrical construction, installation practices, and safety standards.Strong leadership, communication, and crew management skills.
