They have built a high-performance search and detection platform for security data infrastructure. Security teams can search years of log data in seconds, significantly faster than traditional alternatives and at substantially lower cost than existing tools, while keeping full custody of their data in their own cloud storage. The next phase is scaling the engine that makes it all possible and shipping the features that keep customers ahead of their data. The role Working directly on the core backend systems that power petabyte-scale search, storage and ingestion. This is a small, high-trust team where every person has outsized impact on what gets built and how customers are served. Specifically: Improving full-text search performance and reliability as data volumes grow Evolving the storage and indexing layer built on cloud object storage Keeping distributed query execution fast under increasing load Building out log ingestion pipeline reliability and throughput Working end-to-end in a systems language, performance and safety critical throughout Stack: Systems language throughout the backend, serverless compute for query execution, cloud object storage at scale, relational metadata store, container-based log ingestion, infrastructure as code.
