The Material Handler is responsible for accurately moving, locating, and storing materials using a forklift or other powered equipment. The ideal candidate is a team player and has previous warehouse/manufacturing experience.Key Results AreasSafe & efficient operation of all the power-operated equipment that requires certificationAccurately pick and pack items for shipment, potentially with a forkliftComplete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentationEnsure all items not needed short term are restocked according to established proceduresAssist with contacting freight couriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveriesLabel and prepare items for shipment, and load and unload trucks as neededUpdate the Warehouse Management system with transactionsPerform daily safety checklist and standard battery charging proceduresAssist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectationsUpdate the supervisor and team lead on issues or concernsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaSkills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED or three years of relevant warehouse experience requiredPrevious warehouse or manufacturing experience is requiredCurrent forklift certification or the ability to become certified within 30 days is requiredMust be able to read and understand written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detailAble to lift up to 40 pounds alone and greater weights in a team-lift environmentCapable of lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periodsAble to climb ladders as neededXPDEL, Inc. is committed to an inclusive workplace that does not discriminate against race, nationality, religion, age, marital status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity.
