Senior DevOps Engineer

Working with a leading organization in the healthcare sector, you'll join a team responsible for AWS cloud platform and DevOps practices, playing a pivotal role in a major technology transformation. This organization is migrating core infrastructure to AWS EKS and exploring cutting-edge Gen AI solutions, seeking a proactive and skilled engineer to help build, automate, and maintain their next-generation cloud platform.The Role Install, tune, upgrade, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Groovy, AWS CloudFormation, and Bash Manage, monitor, and support containerized application environments on AWS, focusing on Kubernetes (EKS) Collaborate with development and testing teams to enhance system performance and reliability, including building POCs for new services Perform application release deployments and represent the team on Change Advisory Board (CAB) calls Participate in a rotational schedule for remote weekend and after-hours supportWhat You'll Need Bachelor's degree in an IT field or 5+ years of equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Systems Engineering with deep understanding of AWS Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AWS EKS a must) and container technologies (Docker or Podman) Proven expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins Strong scripting skills in Python, Groovy, and/or Bash Experience supporting containerized Java web applications (Spring Boot) Must be located in the MD, DC, VA, or WV area for monthly in-office events and in-person final interviewWhat's On Offer Opportunity to work on a major technology transformation to AWS EKS and Gen AI solutions Engage with cutting-edge cloud platform development and automation Collaborative environment with application development and testing teams W2 Contract-to-Hire, 12 MonthsApply via Haystack today!
