Custom Applicator

We are looking for a custom applicator at our Hoopeston location. Applicants will need to get their applicator license, if they do not already have it through the course of your initial employment with United Prairie. Applicators will also be trained in our TOP GUN program to give you a great head start with application, United Prairie's culture, and our expectations. All United Prairie employees are required to pass a preemployment drug screen and Background check, and be part of a random drug screening pool to fulfill FMCA requirements. Listed below are some of those duties and responsibilities. 1. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot floater applicators, post machines and tender trucks. 2. Perform maintenance on NH3 equipment to provide outstanding equipment to our customers. 3. Assist in any facility maintenance and repairs that need to be performed. 4. Assist in material handling such as unloading railcars of various fertilizers. 5. Must be able to work cooperatively with other employees to make a cohesive team environment. 6. Ability to perform tasks and duties assigned without constant supervision. 7. Perform any other required tasks from the location manager or upper management.
