This position leads and supports complex accounting activities, including close processes, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and accounting for complex revenue arrangements. Working cross-functionally, the Senior Accountant partners across the organization to support accurate and timely close, financial reporting, audit readiness, and GAAP compliance, with key focus areas including accounts receivable and contract-to-cash activities, and accounting support for clinical trials, radiopharmacy operations, capital projects, and intercompany activity. This role also helps strengthen internal controls, drive process improvements, and deliver financial insights that support strategic decision-making.Lead monthly close activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactionsPrepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and external reporting requirementsPrepare and analyze journal entries for revenue recognition, multi-element contract accounting, lease accounting, accruals, prepaids, intercompany transactions, and other key financial activitiesReview customer contracts and amendments to determine proper GAAP treatment for revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and related accountingSupport accounts receivable and contract-to-cash processes, including aging reviews, reconciliations, issue resolution, and analysis of collection trends and reservesLead accounting for capital projects, including grants, incentives, fixed assets, depreciation, and disposalsPrepare and review month-end reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of reconciling itemsSupport external audits by responding to inquiries and preparing audit schedules, financial statements, and footnote disclosuresAnalyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide recommendations to managementDrive process improvements, internal controls, and automation initiatives; perform other related duties as requiredBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or related field requiredExperience with month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, and financial statement preparation requiredStrong working knowledge of GAAP required, including experience applying accounting guidance to complex transactions requiredPreferred Qualifications:Experience with complex revenue recognition required, including accounting for multi-element contracts, contract review, deferred revenue, and related reconciliations; ASC 606 experience preferredExperience supporting accounts receivable and contract-to-cash processes, including aging analysis, reserves, and issue resolution preferredExperience preparing accounting memos, implementing policies and procedures, and supporting internal controls and external audits preferredExperience in high-growth, fast-paced, cross-functional environments preferredExperience presenting complex financial information in a clear, concise, and easy-to- understand manner preferredExperience in biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated environments preferredSchedule Details:Employment Status: Full time (1.0 FTE)Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40Hours of work: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Days worked: Monday to FridayAt BAMF Health, our top priority is patient care.
