Part-time Cook

Scott Hill Retirement Community is home to approximately 139 residents. The two-building campus is located outside of downtown Clifton Forge, VA just off of I-64. Scott Hill is currently recruiting an individual with the ability and desire to work with the Senior population in a part time position. As a part-time cook, candidate must have experience in scratch cooking, be familiar with special diets, and able to prep and cook for a large group. ServSafe certified preferred. This position will require the candidate to work weekends, holidays and fill in for full time chef as needed. Required skills and qualifications: High School diploma or GED Flexibility with schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Must enjoy working with the senior population Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and to bend, crawl, stoop, push and lift in order to deliver care and services as needed.
