Special Events Assistant (OPS Full Time)

Job DescriptionCoordinating operational logistics for athletic and special events hosted at University of North Florida facilitiesAssisting with the management, execution, and evaluation of event-related contracts and servicesSupporting the daily operations, readiness, and maintenance coordination of all athletic facilitiesCollaborating with internal departments and external partners to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality event experiencesAssisting Facilities and Operations leadership with event staffing, scheduling, and operational planningRequired QualificationsStatement(s) of UnderstandingThis position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check.The holder of this position is designated as a Responsible Employee pursuant to their role under Title IX. Therefore, the incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the Universitys Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX CoordinatorThe holder of this position is responsible for any NCAA and Atlantic Sun Conference bylaws and guidelines that a member of the UNF Athletic Compliance Department provides in addition to all UNF regulations.
