This role operates at the program and Agile Release Train (ART) level, driving alignment across multiple product teams, enhancing Agile maturity, and accelerating delivery of cloud-based enterprise systems.The Agile Coach will serve as a strategic enabler of execution, ensuring that Agile practices, DevOps integration, and program objectives are aligned to deliver measurable business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAgile Coaching & TransformationEstablish, mature, and scale Agile practices across multiple product development teamsCoach teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and leadership on Agile principles, Lean thinking, and continuous improvementGuide teams transitioning from traditional development models to Agile and DevOps-enabled deliveryProgram-Level Facilitation (SAFe / ART)Plan, coordinate, and facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning / Big Room Planning eventsSupport Scrum of Scrums, Product Owner Sync, and Inspect & Adapt workshopsEnsure cross-team alignment, dependency management, and execution readinessStrategic Planning & AlignmentCollaborate with program leadership to develop and maintain strategic roadmapsTranslate business priorities into actionable backlogs and delivery plansAlign team objectives with enterprise outcomes and RAPID program goalsTeam Effectiveness & Continuous ImprovementAssess Agile maturity and team performance using defined metricsIdentify gaps and implement targeted improvements to increase delivery predictability and velocityFacilitate retrospectives and promote a culture of accountability and learningDevOps & Delivery EnablementCoach teams on CI/CD, automation, and continuous testing practicesSupport integration of Agile and DevOps workflows to reduce cycle time and improve release qualityPromote engineering excellence and modern delivery practicesStakeholder Engagement & CommunicationServe as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across technical and business domainsCommunicate program status, risks, and improvement opportunities clearly and effectivelyBridge gaps between leadership, product teams, and supporting functionsTraining & Knowledge TransferDevelop and deliver Agile training tailored to program needsEstablish sustainable practices and operating procedures to ensure long-term adoptionMentor Agile practitioners and emerging leaders within the programReporting & Program AssessmentProvide regular reporting on team health, delivery metrics, and Agile maturityRecommend and implement data-driven improvementsSupport transparency and governance across the RAPID programRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related fieldMinimum 8 years of IT experience across software development, architecture, product management, or quality assuranceAt least 1 year of program-level Agile coaching supporting multiple teams or Agile Release Trains (ARTs)At least 2 years of team-level Agile coaching, including standing up Agile teamsAt least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile leaderDemonstrated experience implementing Agile and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automationOne or more Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP)Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting large-scale federal or enterprise programsFamiliarity with ServiceNow ITSM, Agile development tools, and platform analyticsExperience with cloud-based ERP systems and digital transformation initiativesStrong knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologiesProven ability to lead PI Planning / Big Room Planning eventsExcellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
