Maintenance Technician
Facilities Maintenance Technician Duties
The Facilities Maintenance Technician reports to the Facilities Manager and works closely with the Maintenance Manager. Duties vary daily and may include assisting with other maintenance tasks when no facility work orders are pending.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee parking lot maintenance
Manage landscaping and grounds maintenance contractors
Coordinate janitorial services contracting
Conduct and coordinate fire alarm testing in the office
Coordinate annual fire system testing
Assist with annual insurance inspections (FM Global) alongside Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Maintenance staff
Support Fire Chief inspections with HSE Manager and Maintenance Supervisor
Maintain EPACS system equipment (access control remains under HSE Manager)
Handle office furniture upkeep requests
Oversee office elevator inspections and maintenance
Inspect and maintain roofing systems
Manage plumbing maintenance related to facilities
Repair floors and concrete surfaces
Maintain building infrastructure (columns, siding, floors, exterior painting)
Conduct fire system testing
Maintain Banbury elevator and lift equipment
Oversee facility lighting maintenance
Perform general electrical work, including conduit installation and wiring
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.41 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
