Overview: **Position 1: RF Technology and DOCSIS PHY Specialist****Overview:**This role is focused on developing and architecting DOCSIS standards with a strong emphasis on RF (Radio Frequency) technology and DOCSIS PHY specifications. The role requires an in-depth understanding of Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) networks and Passive Optical Networks (PON).**Responsibilities:**- Develop and architect network solutions, focusing on RF technology and DOCSIS PHY specifications.- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements for network advancements.- Conduct research and contribute to the future architecture of Charter's network capabilities.- Optimize and design DOCSIS-based network structures and RF transmission protocols.**Key Skills & Experience:**- Extensive knowledge of DOCSIS standards and development processes.- Expertise in RF technology and DOCSIS PHY specifications.- Strong understanding of HFC and PON network architecture.- Experience with power level, frequency, modulation, coding, multiplexing, and contention control specifications.
