Plan to grow the department to 5 providers in total. Clinical support staff consists of MAs and RNs.This is a full time position with a 36 hour scheduled patient contact hour work expectation with shared weekend call rotation.This position offers flexibility to work a hybrid inpatient/outpatient role or work outpatient only. Inpatient responsibilities would be covering Skagit Valley Hospital, conveniently located across the street, and would be supported by our strong Hospitalist program.Shared call of 1:4 with no Stroke Call responsibilities. On-Call is primarily consultative with Stroke call handled by Tele-Stroke Neurohospitalists.Encounter a diverse array of neurological disorders in your practice. Opportunity to incorporate subspecialty interests to have a more tailored practice.Procedures include EMG, EEG, Botox, Trigger Point Injections and Occipital Nerve Injections.Teaching opportunities exist with Medical Students from PNWU and Residents from our own SRH Residency Programs.This is a hospital employed position with support from our in-house primary and specialty care referral base.Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization with newly implemented ambient AI technology (Abridge) available! Qualifications:Graduate from an ACGME accredited Neurology residency program.Board Eligible/Board Certification required.Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.The ideal candidate will place a priority on improving lives through compassionate and innovative healthcare and focus on building lasting relationships with their patients as well as strong ties within the community.
