Title: Machine Learning Engineer / Forward Deployed EngineerLocation: Remote, Northern CaliforniaSalary: $250K-$300KAn AI startup helping foundation model companies and Frontier Labs is hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer for their new division. This role is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer, a model builder first, who can talk to customers. This role will have a direct line to the founders and is looking for a MLE who has extensive experience with Infrastructure, Benchmarks, Evaluation, and experience using Python/PyTorch ideally at a startup. This role is looking for 3+ years of experience and while this is a Forward Deployed role, they are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer as this is an engineering first role, not sales focused. As a founding FDE, you will help shape the technical direction of the business, offering significant ownership and the opportunity to lead a small team of contractors.This is a fully Remote position but ideally looking for someone local to the Bay for team meetups.
