Come and play an important part on our incredible team today!What You Get To DoOversee the performance and productivity of all location Ambassadors within sub-department locationsSupervise Ambassadors while enforcing and complying with safety procedures and guidelinesResponsible for the training and counseling of sub-department location Ambassadors while ensuring and complying with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standardsComplete appropriate paperwork and administer appropriate disciplinary action, as directed by Management and or Human ResourcesEnsure compliance of Labor Laws with regards to breaks and hours worked per dayEnsure the flawless execution of suggestive selling techniques through observing, coaching and role modeling behaviors to all AmbassadorsManage the sub-department location opening and closing procedures and ensure all Ambassadors are assigned and complete tasks within a timely mannerResolve all Guest Service matters for the location in a professional and timely manner, while supporting and demonstrating the ACE Actions and Guest Service philosophiesMonitor and comply with the area opening and closing procedures and ensure all Ambassadors complete tasks within a timely mannerEstablish and maintain a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of Ambassador engagement while supporting and demonstrating exemplary guest serviceConsistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) lifting and reporting unsafe situationsWhat It Takes To SucceedFive(5) months merchandise experience, or equivalent external experienceNo significant performance deficiencies within a 1 year period.High School Diploma PreferredMust provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreementAble to multi-task in a fast paced work environment; must be able to work independentlyPossess a high level of problem-solving, analytical, verbal and written communication skillsHave proficient mathematical skills and be able to process monetary transactions with accuracy, specifically an aptitude for retail math is necessaryAbility to push/pull/lift/carry 50lbs or more on an occasional basis; frequent extensive walking, standing, occasional climbing; work environment varies from indoors in air-conditioned space to outdoor work in all weather conditions (i.e. heat, humidity, rain and cold)Be willing to comply with all grooming standards and SEA employment standardsBe able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelinesBe willing to comply and ensure all Ambassadors comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standardsThe perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveaways EEO EmployerSEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
