This SkillBridge opportunity is designed for candidates interested in pursuing a career in CMMC assessment, auditing, or implementation. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cybersecurity operations, compliance, or risk management and is motivated to deepen their knowledge of frameworks such as CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and other federal security standards.Job Requirements (Skills Necessary)Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or IT complianceExperience working in a government, DoD, or federal contracting environmentFamiliarity with security frameworks such as NIST SP 800-171, NIST 800-53, RMF, or similarBasic understanding of security controls, risk management, and audit processesStrong documentation and communication skillsCompTIA Security+ CertificationUS Citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD security clearanceJob Preferences (Skills Desired But Not Necessary)Exposure to CMMC requirements or readiness effortsExperience with Microsoft 365, Azure, or cloud security in regulated environmentsFamiliarity with audit artifacts, control validation, policy documentation, or evidence collectionRelevant certifications (CCP, CySA+, CISM, CISA, CISSP, or similar) are a plusLocation: HYBRID in Huntsville.
