This educator will provide engaging, rigorous instruction in both content areas while fostering critical thinking, literacy development, and a love of learning. The ideal candidate supports the mission of Catholic education and creates a structured, faith-centered classroom environment that meets the diverse needs of students.Job ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality instruction in science and language arts aligned with curriculum standardsDesign engaging lessons, including hands-on science activities and literacy-based learning experiencesSupport student growth in reading, writing, critical thinking, and communication skillsDifferentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilitiesUse a variety of assessments to monitor progress and provide timely feedbackIncorporate technology and instructional strategies to enhance learningMaintain accurate records, including lesson plans, grades, and student progressCollaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary planning and student supportCommunicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrationFoster a positive, respectful, and faith-centered classroom environmentParticipate in school events, meetings, and professional developmentModel and uphold the mission and values of Catholic educationJob RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Education, Science, English/Language Arts, or related field requiredValid Missouri teaching certification (or eligibility)Experience teaching middle school students preferredStrong understanding of literacy instruction and STEM-based learningExcellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to support diverse learners and adapt instruction as neededCommitment to Catholic education and student faith formationThe Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
