This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.Knowledge of HPLC, UPLC, GC, TOC, FTIR, and other instrumentation functions/applicationCollects and analyzes water samples representative of that used for manufacturing product, research and development, and cleaning validationMicrobiology LabAnalyzes samples by means of Rapid Method Technologies, organism isolation/identification, membrane filtration and preservative effectiveness cyclesPerforms Total Plate Count and Enrichment studies using standard plating techniquesPrepares and qualifies media including pH, sterility testing, and growth promotion testingResponds to situations that have a high potential for positive micro results and initiate action to minimize business riskCollects and analyzes water samples representative of that used for manufacturing product, research and development, and cleaning/rinsing for the presence of microorganismsTesting of non-woven personal care wipes productsCaptures and analyzes environmental samplesEducation and ExperienceMinimum of two (2) years of scientific education, prefer one year of college chemistry or biology and/or two (2) year work experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control or in a GMP-manufacturing environment.Role TypeDirect Manufacturing/Distribution - 100% On-SiteTravel RequirementsTravel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as neededFLSA StatusNon-ExemptCompensation & BenefitsThe starting pay rate for this role is 24.52 per hour.
