This role combines hands-on warehouse execution with frontline leadership to support team performance, maintain system integrity, and uphold inventory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & OperationsLead, coach, and support receiving and inventory associates in daily warehouse activitiesAssign tasks, monitor workload, and ensure timely processing of inbound materialsTrain new team members on procedures, systems, and safety requirementsMaintain a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse environmentEscalate discrepancies, staffing concerns, or operational risks to the Warehouse ManagerReceiving & Inventory ControlOversee receipt of inbound shipments from suppliers and internal transfersVerify quantities, part numbers, serial numbers, and product condition against purchase orders and packing slipsEnsure real-time and accurate receipt transactions within ERP systemsCoordinate labeling, barcoding, and proper storage of materials in assigned locationsSupport efficient inventory movement to production and shipping areasAccuracy, Audits & Continuous ImprovementLead cycle counts and support full physical inventory countsInvestigate discrepancies, damages, and inventory variances; support root-cause resolutionMaintain clear documentation and traceability within warehouse systemsIdentify process improvement opportunities to enhance accuracy and efficiencyEnsure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and quality expectationsQualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations experience preferredPrior experience leading, training, or mentoring team members is an assetExperience with ERP systems and barcode scanning tools preferredStrong organizational, documentation, and inventory accuracy skillsAbility to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a warehouse environmentHigh attention to detail and ability to follow standardized proceduresStrong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
