Housekeeping Manager

Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor Job Summary: Lead with purpose and attention to detail as the Housekeeping Supervisor at The Current Hotel, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection- a distinguished portfolio of unique luxury hotels. In this role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring pristine guest rooms and public spaces that reflect the hotel’s commitment to excellence and personalized service. Essential Functions: Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team to ensure daily tasks are completed to the highest standard. Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards. Train, mentor, and support housekeeping associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Assist with staff scheduling, workload distribution, and ensuring proper coverage during peak periods. Address and resolve guest concerns or special requests in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Maintain inventory levels for cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring timely restocking and cost control. Uphold and enforce health, safety, and sanitation protocols in line with hotel policies and regulations. Qualifications: Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role, with supervisory experience preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively guide and motivate a team. Proficiency in using housekeeping management systems and basic computer skills. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays. Familiarity with Marriott standards and systems is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods. Frequently lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Perform repetitive motions such as bending, crouching, and reaching.
