Position Summary
The Facilities Worker is responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of the Robbinsville facility. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment across production, warehouse, and office areas within a fast-paced printing and manufacturing operation.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and general repairs (e.g., minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
Support facility upkeep including cleaning, painting, and basic equipment repairs
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks for building systems and equipment
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
Maintain cleanliness and organization of production floors, common areas, and exterior grounds
Assist with waste removal, recycling, and material handling
Support setup and breakdown of equipment, workspaces, and company events as needed
Monitor facility conditions and report safety hazards or repair needs
Operate basic tools and equipment safely and effectively
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned to support facility and production operations.Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
13 years of facilities, maintenance, or industrial experience preferred
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to be trained)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical Demands & Work Environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Exposure to a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and moving machinery
