Coating Production Technician - 3rd Shift

Coating Production TechnicianOpportunities on 3rd shift to support automated coating and barrel processing lines in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for operating and starting up coating lines, monitoring automated systems, performing in-process quality inspections, and ensuring production flows efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is mechanically and technically inclined, comfortable working with automation and PLC interfaces, and highly detail-oriented with a strong quality mindset.Key responsibilities include:Start up, operate, and monitor automated coating linesUse PLC control boxes and HMIs to maintain proper process flowPerform in-process quality inspections to identify defects earlyFollow detailed work instructions and standard operating proceduresLoad parts into barrels, including repetitive liftingSupport basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvementMaintain safety, housekeeping (6S), and production documentation standardsQualifications include:High school diploma or GEDManufacturing experience preferred; automation experience a plusComfortable working with PLCs, HMIs, and computerized equipmentStrong attention to detail and quality mindsetAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environmentPerceptive Recruiting, LLC, headquartered in Greenville, SC, has 27 years of technology recruitment experience.
