License Social worker

Position:- LICSWLocation:- Roosevelt, NYfull timeRoles & ResponsibilitiesEngages patient(s) in therapeutic process through one-on-one therapy and/or group therapy sessionsProvides therapeutic intervention to patients with behavioral health needs, including individual, family, and group psychotherapy, community work, crisis intervention, case management, and other treatment modalitiesPrepares psychosocial histories/reports and maintains treatment records, in accordance with clinic and regulatory guidelinesConducts psychosocial assessments and develops and implements treatment plansRequirementsMaster's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social workA New York State License is requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsPrevious work experience in behavioral health or health settings preferredAbility to travel to other sites as neededAbility to work well in teams and independentlyAbility to collect and enter data for program management, evaluation, and reporting purposesBilingual in English and Spanish/Creole required.Must be LMSW (Licensed Master Social Work) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Work) to be considered
