We're looking for a motivated Controller to partner closely with the CFO and lead the finance function with a strong focus on accuracy, process improvement, and business insight. Fully remote position with up to 5% travel for company meetings 401(k) with 5% company match 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision premiums for employees and families HSA contribution for qualifying plans Unlimited PTO plus 11 observed holidays What You'll Do Lead full-cycle accounting, including monthly close, financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting commentary Establish and maintain a close process that delivers financial statements by the 8th business day of each month Ensure monthly documentation and reconciliation of all material balance sheet accounts Partner with the CFO to monitor business performance, evaluate metrics, and identify meaningful financial trends Improve accounting systems and processes to deliver better analytics and stronger decision support Maintain compliance with GAAP and support external audits Build clear, audit-ready procedures and strong internal controls Partner with external tax advisors on tax strategy, returns, and potential credits or savings opportunities Oversee timely sales tax filings, business registrations, and related compliance requirements Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategy with operational and growth goals Identify opportunities to increase ROI from financial systems, including the use of AI to automate manual tasks and elevate analysis What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience 8+ years of experience leading accounting and finance teams Strong background in full-cycle accounting and monthly financial reporting Demonstrated expertise in GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition Experience managing audits and working with external auditors Working knowledge of tax matters, including sales tax and income tax Proficiency in financial systems; NetSuite preferred CPA or CMA preferred Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines High degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality Strong remote collaboration skills and willingness to travel up to 5% Additional Requirements Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of work authorization within three days of hire.
