CNC Lathe Set-Up MachinistThis is a hands-on role for machinists who enjoy dialing in complex lathe work and taking ownership of their setups. You'll work with advanced CNC lathe equipment, including twin turret and twin spindle machines, in a clean, safety-driven precision shop.CNC Lathe Set-Up Machinist Benefits and Compensation:$24$32 per hour, based on experience$2/hour shift differential2nd Shift: 2:45 PM 12:45 AMFour 10-hour shifts, MondayThursdayMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysOngoing training and internal advancement opportunitiesCNC Lathe Set-Up Machinist Requirements & Qualifications:4+ years of CNC machining experience with a strong focus on lathe set-upsExperience setting up and running CNC lathes, including twin turret or twin spindle configurationsAbility to independently prove out programs and make necessary editsSolid understanding of blueprint reading and GD&TStrong working knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, and speedsValid driver's licenseMust Haves:Complete machine set-ups and changeovers on CNC lathesTroubleshoot tooling, offsets, and program issuesInspect parts using precision measuring tools and CMMsDocument production, scrap, and ERP entries accuratelyMaintain machine condition, coolant levels, and tool integrityPreferred Background & Skills:Multi-axis lathe experience in a precision environmentFamiliarity with JobBOSS or similar ERP systemsMedical device or aerospace machining experienceProcess-improvement mindset and strong attention to detailInterest in mentoring or supporting less experienced machinists
