Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst - Hybrid for a 6-month contract to hire opportunity with our client located in Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, Albany, NY, or Buffalo, NY.Pay Range: $65.00-75.00 per hourJob Description:Join the Fraud/AML team as a Senior Data Analyst within an enterprise data and information services group. Be part of a team that is focused on building robust enterprise data pipelines to support reporting, analytics, and business insights that drive critical business decisions. The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for data mapping, required to deliver vital information to the consumer population for multiple data assets.Responsibilities:Own the attribution mapping details for data elements from the source systems to the target Fraud, AML and various marts within the data supply chainIndependently translate business requirements to detailed mapping documents, develop and unit test datasets building maintainable code to accelerate delivery through reusability, and perform peer code reviewsEmbrace mentorship and provide training for less experienced business and data analystsProvide continuous improvement ideas to reduce expenses, improve efficiency, and elevate qualityAssess the technical viability of new and emerging data solutions providing design guidance, technical recommendations, performance optimization, and development insightsContribute to technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts for developing data solutionsAdhere to and identify standards and best practicesProvide input into Data Models and Entity Relationship Diagrams and use those documents to build efficient SQLCreate and enhance context diagrams for data solutions to maintain auditabilityProvide all the business rules, transformation logic, derived column expressions, SQL, etc. to build mapping documentsParticipate and give feedback in Mapping Review Sessions and Data Architecture Review SessionsKnowledge of portfolio planning, project prioritization, and remediation planning activitiesStrong knowledge of Risk Management practices associated with a Financial Institution or financial dataRequirements:Master's Degree and 5+ years data analytics experience, Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years data analytics experience, or equivalent military/work experience3+ years of experience in SQLExperience in Google Cloud Platform, notably Big QueryExtensive experience analyzing and interpreting business data leveraging various techniques including automation for data quality validationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Agile Methodologies, Jira and ConfluenceAttention to detail and quality focusedAble to effectively work multiple priorities simultaneouslyDesired skills:Experience in AML, Fraud or Financial IndustryExperience in AbInitio or an ETL toolOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!About Genesis10:Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
