EHS Field Safety Manager

Description Evolution Safety Resources (ESR) is a Safety Consulting Firm based out of North Carolina. Our team is seeking a full-time field safety manager in the Fayetteville, NC market to manage a client site and ensure compliance with federal, state, and best practice safety guidelines. You will provide advice on measures to minimize hazards or unhealthy situations. You will also be on a constant lookout for violations. Your work will be largely focused on prevention, so you need to be conscientious and farsighted. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and ready to act in emergencies. The goal is to establish a safe workplace according to legal standards and foster a culture of attention to health and safety. We are seeking someone who is based out of Fayetteville, NC or the surrounding area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure compliance with all OSHA, EPA, DOT, and NFPA regulations Follow all safety rules and report any unsafe conditions Properly use all required personal protection equipment Comply with jobsite guidelines to ensure a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment Maintain daily reports required by the customer, including daily inspections, Job Safety Analysis, and incident reports; generate reports with detailed documentation of onsite findings (including: Notes, Photos, and Corrective Actions taken) Inspect sites daily for existing and/or potential incident and health hazards Determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented Investigate all reported injuries and illnesses Maintain a healthy client relationship and proper communication methods Stand as subject matter expert on all topics of EHS QUALIFICATIONS OSHA 30 Construction (required) Field Safety Experience - 5 yrs (required) EM-385-1-1 (required) 24 Hour Fall Protection Class (required) OSHA 510 credentials (preferred) Industrial/General Industry Experience (preferred) Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization WORK ENVIRONMENT The employee is frequently assigned to outdoor jobs, requires long periods of standing and lifting and carrying of supplies. Employee will be expected to have a clean driving history, a valid driver’s license and pass a background and substance screening.
