Come and be one of them.About The RoleFluidStack is building hyperscale GPU data centers that power the world's leading AI labs—including Anthropic, Meta, Google, and Mistral. As a Data Center Superintendent, you will be our boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for executing large-scale, mission-critical construction projects from groundbreaking through commissioning and handoff. You will own daily site operations, coordinate trades and subcontractors, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive schedules to meet aggressive delivery milestones. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role at the center of FluidStack's infrastructure buildout.Basic Qualifications7+ years of on-site construction experience on large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projectsDemonstrated experience managing multiple subcontractors, GC relationships, and union representatives simultaneouslyStrong working knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards (OSHA, NFPA, NEC)Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex structural, mechanical, and electrical construction drawings, specs, and RFIsProven ability to manage project schedules, logistics, and on-site materials and equipment coordinationStrong communication skills with the ability to report progress clearly to internal stakeholders and external partnersPreferred Qualifications5+ years of experience specifically in hyperscale data center construction (50MW+ capacity, $100M+ budgets)Experience overseeing commissioning phases (Level 3, 4, and 5) through facility operations handoffBackground with hyperscale operators or developers such as AWS, Meta, Vantage, QTS, or similarBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldFamiliarity with prefabrication strategies and their application in accelerating hyperscale delivery timelinesExperience managing construction within or adjacent to live, high-uptime environmentsTravel 75%+ to active sites or as needed for projects.Salary & BenefitsCompetitive total compensation package (salary + equity).Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting.
