Material Handler/Order Processor

General Labor / Warehouse / Machine Operator / Forklift De Pere, WI S.I. Metals & Supply, Inc. We are recruiting a Steel Warehouse Order Processor to join our team! Your position will primarily focus on safe and efficient movement of products using forklifts, cutting of materials, and servicing customers. This is a full-time, 1st shift position. Responsibilities: Operate various forklifts for storage and removal of materials Prepare products and materials for shipment (band sawing, shearing, and torching) Load, unload and stage products/materials Track and record units of materials handled Friendly customer service Adhere to safety policies and procedures Qualifications: General knowledge of steel products, and able to correctly read tape measure Experience in general labor, construction, agriculture or other related fields - (not a must) Familiarity with forklift or other industrial vehicles - (willing to train the right individual) Ability to handle physical workload, able to consistently lift 75lbs Computer skills; to take customer orders, and process order for inventory control Strong work ethic Willingness to Politely handle customers Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
