Project Cost Accountant (D365 Business Central) - Onsite in Newport Beach, CA - $100K base USD + benefits We’re seeking a hands-on Project Cost Accountant to support project financials, billing, accounts receivable, and monthly accounting operations within a professional services environment. This is an operational accounting role, not a Controller or CFO position. It’s ideal for a strong project accountant or advanced bookkeeper who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working closely with leadership in a fully on-site setting. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate project financials across active jobs Manage billing, including hourly, lump-sum, and percentage-of-completion billing Support accounts receivable, collections follow-up, and AR reporting Process employee timecards Assist with monthly financial reporting Coordinate with internal teams and communicate with clients on billing matters Requirements: Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or project accounting Strong knowledge of Microsoft Business Central Experience with Progressus Background in project-based accounting or job costing Experience with billing and accounts receivable Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up Preferred: Experience in engineering, architecture, consulting, or professional services Familiarity with monthly close support and project financial reporting Experience in a customized ERP environment This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning day-to-day accounting processes and keeping project financial operations organized and accurate. **No Sponsorship / No Contractors / No Third-Parties#J-18808-Ljbffr
