Controls & Automation Technician (PLC)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Controls & Automation Technician with 5-10 years of experience to support troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of automated systems within a GMP regulated manufacturing environment.Location: Sacramento, CAPay rate: $70-85KRelocation Assistance: is providedDirect hire opportunityKey ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot & maintain automation systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging processesTroubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systemsSupport equipment qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and validation documentationEnsure compliance with regulatory standards such as GMP, FDA, and 21 CFR Part 11Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and engineeringSupport investigations and help with CAPAs.Maintain and update automation documentation, including SOPs and technical manualsAssist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance and reduce downtimeProvide technical support during audits and inspectionsRequired QualificationsHS or Associates Degree in Engineering or graduate from trade school.5-10 years of experience in GMP regulated environment.Hands-on experience with troubleshoot PLC (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)Familiarity with SCADA and HMI systemsBasic understanding of validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ)Knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance requirementsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills#INDBH
