Front of House Manager
Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This dynamic role involves overseeing daily restaurant operations, managing staff, ensuring top-tier customer service, and maintaining a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Duties
Lead and supervise front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and uphold high standards of hospitality and customer care
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, reservation handling, and guest relations
Train, mentor, and develop team members in food service techniques, customer engagement, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols
Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality standards are met
Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports
Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and delivery of orders
Maintain a clean, organized environment that complies with health regulations and safety standards
Experience
Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment—preferably with casual dining or fine dining backgrounds
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively, including interviewing, training & development, and performance management
Strong background in hospitality management with skills in budgeting, inventory control, and shift scheduling
Experience in food industry operations such as catering, banquets, or bar service is highly desirable
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
