Job Description Job Opportunity: Full-Time UrologistOur organization, affiliated with a prominent healthcare system, is on the lookout for a full-time Urologist. We are eager to find a passionate and committed physician who is enthusiastic about serving an urban, ethnically diverse, and underserved community within a vibrant and supportive academic environment. The facility is conveniently reachable via public transport and car from various locations across New York City, New Jersey, and Long Island.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care.Teach and supervise residents and students from the Urology program in an academic community hospital setting.Focus primarily on general urology, with opportunities for subspecialty practice in areas such as robotics, reconstruction, female/pelvic medicine, voiding dysfunction, and endourology.Collaborate with a team that includes multiple physician assistants, residents, and medical students who rotate through the service.Qualifications and RequirementsMD degree.Completion of Urology Residency or Clinical Fellowship training.Valid New York State License, DEA, and Medicaid number.International candidates who have completed a clinical fellowship in the U.S. and require H1B visas are welcome to apply, especially those interested in working in underserved areas to qualify for the American Board of Urology.Working ConditionsWe offer a faculty appointment with the academic institution that aligns with your credentials, experience, and qualifications. The compensation package is highly competitive, ranging from $362,418 to $470,000, which includes on-call coverage and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.
