Opportunity OverviewWe have an immediate opening for a Cryogenic Technicianto join our team at New England Cryogenic Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts.Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the ability to work up to 2 weekends per month and 3 holidays per yearCompensation: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.How You'll ContributeUnder the supervision of the Laboratory Manager, the Cryogenic Technician is responsible for tank monitoring and maintenance, order fulfillment, inventory projects and general biorepository tasks.In this role, the Cryogenic Technicianwill:Assign, pull and verify ordersPerform daily and weekly QM/QCReceive products and verify via packing slips and purchase ordersCheck-in shipping tanks and perform shipping procedures for specimen ordersPerform inventory for tank room supplies and submit requisitions for purchaseMaintain a high level of cleanliness in the Cryogenic areaDraft and review SOPsAttend meetings when necessaryConvey any non-compliances and difficulties to upper managementPerform and assist in all duties pursuant to the betterment of NECC and related companiesMaintain and update location logbooks, tank sheets and computerized specimen inventoryCoordinate specimen pick-ups and deliveries with courier and sales departmentHave occasional responsibility of alarming and disarming the building security systemPerform other related duties as assigned by managementWhat You'll BringWe're looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.Qualifications and Skills Include:Associates degree and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience required, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent backgroundExperience working with inventory preferredExperience with medical gas equipment and controllers preferredTransport coordination experience preferredMust be capable of performing, evaluating, and reporting cryogenics procedures by following standard operating procedureHigh attention to detailStrong written and oral communication skillsWork weekend coverage per team schedule managed by Biorepository ManagerWork occasional overtime and holidays as neededWorking knowledge in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, database, and Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access)Have skills to access, input, and retrieve information from a computerExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and build and maintain effective working relationshipsAbility to develop continuous quality improvementResults orientation; highly responsive to requestsVerbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and accuracyFlexibility and willingness to always learnWhat We Offer We are proud to provide a competitivecomprehensivebenefits package designed to support our team members—professionally and personally—across all employment types.Full-Time Employees (30+ hours/week)Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchTuition assistance and professional development supportPerformance-based bonus opportunitiesGenerous paid time off, paid holidays, and paid parental leaveLife and disability benefitsFertility Discount ProgramEmployee wellness and recognition programsPart-Time Employees401(k) with company matchPerformance-based bonus opportunitiesEmployee wellness and recognition programsPer Diem Employees401(k) with company matchEmployee wellness and recognition programsOur Commitment to Inclusion and OpportunityWe believe that a diverse workforce is essential to fulfilling our mission of expanding patient access to the highest standards of fertility care.
