Video Engineer: Full-time

PURPOSE:The Video Engineer is responsible for assisting in all video related applications during live services at Calvary Albuquerque. This position performs live production of church services and special events as well as provides technical support for the churchs video needs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Set up and tear down of live production equipment (cameras, tripods, computers, monitors, jib, and screens)Operate cameras, jib, and Pro PresenterSet up cameras, capture devices, and computers for other services around campusSet up and tear down of field and studio recording equipment such as cameras, tripods, lights, audio devices (mics and audio recorders), teleprompter, and green screenESSENTIAL TASKS:MAIN SANCTUARY SERVICESAssist in setup and teardown of all video equipment neededOperate cameras, camera jib, graphics/lyrics displayAssist with setup/teardown of all service-related video equipmentSPECIAL SERVICES/EVENTSSetup and teardown all equipment needed for remote or on-campus eventsOperate cameras, computers and screens for all live events including:Outdoor servicesBaptismsConcertsConferencesWeddings/MemorialsSKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:Conversant in MAC OSMust have working knowledge of live television production including: camera operation, computer graphics, switching and routing, video production and camera controlsStrong work ethic and servants heartAbility to learn quickly and increase knowledge of new skills, programs, and equipmentAbility to quickly perform complicated tasks to a high quality and under pressureStrong communication skills with talent and crewCreativity and an eye for photographyKnowledge of camera and lenses and workflow of digital SLR camerasAbility to organize and be prepared for live and field productionBasic knowledge of computer-based editing, webcasting and podcasting a plusCOMMENTS:The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of this job and the level of work performed by employees in this position.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
