OverviewThe Quality Control Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the company's products and that processes meet the required standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in the automotive industry and a strong understanding of quality control procedures and standards. This role will work for MOBIS, Savannah Plant (MSV).Responsibilities(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes for the company's automotive parts productsConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce defectsManage and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports, process flow charts, and quality control plansWork closely with production and engineering teams to identify and address quality issues and ensure compliance with industry standardsCoordinate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues and implement improvementsConduct audits of the company's quality control system and processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards and regulationsReviews product design for compliance with company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specificationsTrain and educate staff on quality control procedures, standards, and best practicesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure that quality issues are identified and resolved promptlyUnderstand the HMGMA assembly process related to MAL-SV Module processes in Just In SequenceComplies with and promotes safety in the workplaceAll other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities:YesQualifications(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)Required Education & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Human Engineering, Quality Management, or related fieldOver 3 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer in Automotive industry Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement Preferred Education & Experience:Working knowledge of Six Sigma Black/Green BeltWorking experience with Hyundai / Kia / MobisFluent in Korean and English is a plus Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Domestic / International travel required
