Safety EHS Engineer

Job Title: Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer Location: Fairfield, OH 45014 (Onsite) Duration: 6 Months Pay Rate: $45.92 Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST Job Description: Strong Leadership skills, needs a certification from the list that follows, be sure to highlight the certification in submission. Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to provide on-the-floor EHS support at our manufacturing facility. The primary responsibilities would include: · Conducting routine floor audits and safety observations. · Supporting employee engagement and safety initiatives. · Assisting with incident investigations and corrective action follow-up. · Monitoring compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures. · Providing guidance and coaching to operators, supervisors, and managers on EHS matters. · Assisting with hazard identification and risk reduction activities. · Supporting safety training and communication efforts as needed. · Maintaining EHS documentation and assisting with compliance-related activities. · We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment and strong working knowledge of: · OSHA regulations and compliance requirements. · Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs and machine safety. · Fall Protection requirements and implementation. · Dock safety, including pedestrian and powered industrial vehicle interactions. · ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management systems · Emergency Response Programs, emergency preparedness, and incident management. · Risk assessment and hazard identification methodologies. · Incident investigation and corrective action processes. · Employee safety engagement and behavior-based safety initiatives.
