Details Work in a robust Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting 12-hour shifts scheduled 07:00–19:00 or 19:00–07:00, rotating days and nights Scheduled 3 x 12-hour shifts per week 4 x 12-hour on-call shifts required per 6-week period Floating to similar units may be required as needed Requirements Active SC or Compact RN license required Current BLS certification (AHA only) Current NRP certification (AHA only) Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required Additional Information Responsibilities include patient assessment through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis, with age-appropriate nursing interventions aligned to the plan of care Expected to contribute to department performance through precepting and mentoring of novice staff Participation in hospital-system initiatives supporting Evidence-Based Practice is encouraged Demonstrates continued professional growth by setting goals and engaging in educational opportunities American Traveler Job ID P-687658.
