Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) (7am-7pm)
DescriptionWarehouse Associates are required to perform assigned shipping and receiving duties. Assist the supervisor or lead with day-to-day activities. Operate the equipment in a safe manner; work with supervisors and leads and to ensure that all of the department needs are met.7:00am - 7:00pm, 12-hour shifts with rotating days (2, 2, 3)Paid Breaks with Weekly Pay!Starting Pay Rate: $18.50/hr plus $2.10 shift differentialEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesOperate forklift safely observing all safety rules, utilizing horns and maintaining proper speedsTeam player both inside and outside assigned departmentFollows the directions of LeadsAble to prioritize tasks and displays a sense of urgencyEnsure all raw materials are checked in, placarded and put away in the proper locationEnsure all trucks are unloaded/loaded properly and all paperwork filled out accordinglyEnsure all stock is rotated in accordance to FIFO (First In/First Out) procedureEnsure that all partial items are combined, counted and marked properlyEnsure inventory accuracy by properly marking, storing & handling FG/RMMaintain a clean and organized warehouseWork assigned overtime and covers co-worker's vacationOther duties assignedQualificationsMust have previous material handling experienceSatisfactory completion of forklift training programDetail oriented with good organization and time management skillsAbility to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentWilling to train in other areas of the plantEducation And/or ExperienceMust possess either a High School diploma or GEDMathematical SkillsMust be capable of performing addition, subtraction, multiplication and division calculations.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
