Hiring: Project Manager / Process EngineerLocation: Waco, TXWork Arrangement: OnsiteExperience: Experienced professionalsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringWe are looking for a Project Manager / Process Engineer with strong experience in process engineering and capital project execution to support engineering projects from scope development through installation, commissioning, and startup.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute process engineering and capital projects from concept through commissioning.Develop and optimize PFDs and P&IDs, including pumps, valves, and piping systems.Support project scope, SOW, RFP/RFQ, procurement, fabrication, installation, and startup activities.Perform process optimization, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.Develop project plans, schedules, resource requirements, and risk assessments.Manage vendors, contractors, site teams, and other stakeholders.Support CAPEX/OPEX analysis, project charters, and business case development.Lead project meetings, steering committees, and project status reporting.Track project KPIs, cost, schedule, risks, and deliverables.Coordinate with site and global engineering/leadership teams.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Strong experience in Process Engineering and Capital Project Execution.Hands-on experience with PFD/P&ID, pumps, valves, and piping.Experience with installation, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.Experience developing project scopes, SOWs, RFPs/RFQs, schedules, and risk assessments.Strong project planning, stakeholder, vendor, and contractor management skills.Preferred QualificationsCAPEX/OPEX and budget management experience.EPC/EPCM or industrial project experience.Experience in chemical, food & beverage, FMCG, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, manufacturing, packaging, or industrial plant environments.PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification.Experience delivering measurable process improvements, cost savings, or sustainability initiatives.Candidates in Waco, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and nearby Texas locations are encouraged to apply if they are open to working onsite in Waco, TX.
