Electronics Assembler

*Title : Electronics Assembler* *Location : Sugar Land, TX 77478* *Duration : 9+ Months Contract * *Shift : 06:00 am – 02:00 pm (Mon – Fri)* *Pay Rate : $19.50/hr.* *Job Description* The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. * Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures. * Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products. * Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies. * Create labor records for all transactions. * Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement. *Minimum Years of experience:* 2 – 3 years *Education Background:* High School Diploma/ GED *Is there any certification required?*: IPC-610 *Key Skills:* * Assembly and soldering of printed circuit boards * Read design drawings * Electronic component identification * Understanding of Quality standards * Ability to use microscope for long periods of time * Follow standard procedure. * Identifying solder defects * System knowledge: Computer skills, SAP * Circuit board assembly, solder, IPC, PWA * To have experience in Bills of Materials (BOMs) & Blue-Print, Fine moto skills Pay: $19.50 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
