You'll own budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for revenue-driving functions and will work directly with business leaders to turn financial data into clear, strategic decisions.What You'll Be Working OnRevenue Planning & ForecastingLead the development and maintenance of revenue models used for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across Care.com's business linesMonitor and analyze key revenue metrics and business trends, providing regular updates and variance analysis to senior managementHelp design and evaluate business plans, budgets, and forecasts — and clearly communicate the 'so what' to stakeholdersIdentify risks and opportunities impacting revenue performance and proactively surface recommendations Reporting & Business Partnership Assist in the preparation of weekly reporting that highlights operational results, forecasts, and business plans across the company's divisionsWork closely with finance managers and business unit leaders to support strategic decision-making and meet strict reporting timelinesPrepare materials for key meetings including weekly and monthly business reviews and forecast update sessionsPerform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings clearly to senior leadership Process & Tools Build and maintain sophisticated financial models with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and scalabilityContribute to process improvement efforts to enhance forecasting and reporting tools and methodologiesOperate with a high degree of independence and contribute successfully across cross-functional teams What You'll Need To Succeed Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or an equivalent quantitative field2–4 years of experience in a finance or analytics role; backgrounds in investment banking, consulting, or finance roles at small-to-mid-size companies are a strong fitExperience with revenue budgeting and forecasting is important — we're looking for someone who has owned these processes, not just supported themStrong financial modeling skills with a focus on building clean, efficient, scalable modelsSolid understanding of finance, accounting, economics, and statisticsHigh proficiency with ExcelStrong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, actionable insightsExcellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to and influencing senior leadershipSQL experience is a plus Company Overview Available in more than 20 countries, Care.com is the world's leading platform for finding and managing high-quality family care.
