Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Step into a meaningful role supporting student success in the greater Seattle area as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from early September through mid-December 2026, with positions available in both Central Seattle and across central, southwest, and southeast neighborhoods. You'll engage with moderate to high support needs students, making a tangible impact in their learning environments.Key Qualifications:Current Washington (WA) state Occupational Therapy licenseValid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificationDemonstrated experience in school-based or pediatric OT settingsAbility to develop and implement tailored intervention plans for students with diverse support needsStrong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and familiesAdept at using evidence-based practices and documentation systemsCommitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning experiencesKey Responsibilities:Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students, focusing on moderate to high support needsAssess student strengths and areas for growth through formal and informal evaluationsCollaborate with special education teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Monitor and document progress toward therapy goalsEducate staff and families on strategies to support student participation in school activitiesDeliver services across assigned schools—one role is dedicated to a single campus in Central Seattle, while the other covers multiple areasThis on-site position offers the satisfaction of making a daily impact within the school community, working alongside dedicated professionals, and building meaningful connections with students.
