Structural Engineer

Flexible / Home-Based – Betts Associates Nr ChesterWe’re looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join us on a flexible, home-based basis — working in a way that fits around you.You’ll conduct site inspections and structural surveys, and prepare reports and designs for remedial work, drawing on real depth of hands-on experience.Our sites have a wide geographical spread, so your home location isn’t critical.As this isn’t a full-time site role, an interest in passing on knowledge to our younger engineers — mentoring as much as delivering — will be a real advantage.What We’re Looking ForChartered (MIStructE or MICE) — a surveyor or qualified site engineer will also be consideredComfortable working independently on site inspections, surveys and remedial reportsFlexible, home-based working to suit your own patternAn interest in mentoring and developing our junior engineersIn return, you’ll have genuine flexibility over how and when you work, autonomy on your own inspections and reports, and a real opportunity to shape how our junior engineers develop.Get in touch to find out more, or click apply
