Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to building strong relationships with students and families, fostering a positive classroom culture, and collaborating closely with colleagues to support student learning.The successful candidate will utilize evidence-based instructional practices to support student growth in literacy and mathematics, including the implementation of Units of Study in Reading and Writing and Everyday Mathematics. A strong understanding of workshop-based instruction is desired.Mast Landing School values classrooms grounded in Responsive Classroom practices, where strong classroom communities, student engagement, and social-emotional learning are integrated into the daily experience of students. Our teachers work collaboratively in grade-level teams to analyze student learning, design responsive instruction, and ensure high levels of support and achievement for all learners.
