Job DescriptionElectrical EstimatorGpac is a national executive search firm specializing in recruitment for the electrical construction industry. We have been retained by a local electrical contractor in the area to find an Electrical Estimator to join their team.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary based on experienceBonus potentialHealth insurance package401KPaid vacationCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceDuties & Responsibilities:Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required estimate detailsEstimate electrical work for commercial, industrial, and institutional projectsAttend pre-bid meetings and job site walkthroughs to verify project requirementsPerform complete take-offs for electrical scope of workMaintain detailed estimate documentation, including supplier pricing and historical cost dataSupport other departments as needed, including assisting with estimates in related disciplinesAnalyze design options and recommend cost-effective solutionsInterface with clients on bid-walks and provide estimating support to field operationsPerform additional tasks as assigned by leadershipQualifications:3+ years of estimating experience with an electrical contractorExperience with Accubid, McCormick, or Conest estimating softwareStrong knowledge of electrical installations, estimating techniques, and cost controlAbility to interpret computerized cost data and estimating systemsDetail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlinesStable work historyPrevious management or supervisory experience is a plusPreferred but Not Required:College degree in a related fieldYour resume will not be shared with any company without us first reaching out to discuss the opportunity in detail.Take the next step in your career-apply today!Contact Ben Broers directly for more information: 605-937-5246 ben.broers@gogpac.com
