In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex data architecture and real-time streaming, leveraging a robust tech stack to drive enterprise-grade data engineering initiatives.What You’ll Be Doing:Data Architecture: Design and implement scalable big data pipelines and distributed systems.Hands-on Development: Perform end-to-end software development using Java to build high-performance data applications.Streaming & Integration: Build and manage real-time data streaming solutions utilizing Kafka.Cloud Engineering: Leverage cloud-native services within AWS and Google Cloud Platform ecosystems to host and optimize data processing environments.System Optimization: Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, conduct code reviews, and ensure data integrity across large-scale distributed databases.What You Need to Succeed:Technical Experience: Strong professional experience in Big Data engineering and Java application development.Core Tech Stack: Expert-level knowledge of Java and Kafka for building robust, real-time data integrations.Cloud Proficiency: Proven experience working within both AWS and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) cloud environments.Data Systems: Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, along with big data processing frameworks.Problem Solving: Ability to translate complex business requirements into high-performance technical data solutions.Communication: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for data workflows.Experience in designing and maintaining data lakes and warehouses.Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment.
