This hands-on role involves tracking, procuring, and delivering supplies to ensure availabilityWill be working from Manatee County - Charlotte CountyKey ResponsibilitiesMaterial Flow Management: Handling receiving, issuing, staging, and unloading materials from vendors.Inventory Accuracy: Physical inventory audits, and reconciling records to prevent shortages or overstocking.Site Support: Coordinating with project managers and site supers to ensure materials and equipment are available in time for construction schedules.Logistics & Storage: Maintaining orderly, safe storage areas and managing tool usage/tracking.Vendor Coordination: Working with vendors to manage lead times, receiving shipments, and resolve damagesProperly Communicate with Team.Common Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: 3–5+ years in inventory management or warehouse operations, with a strong preference for construction industry experience.Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and specialized construction software.Physical Ability: Ability to work in warehouses/yards, lift heavy items (50+ lbs), and operate forklifts.Communication: Strong ability to coordinate between field crews and suppliersKey Benefits of Effective Inventory ManagementReduced Downtime: Ensuring tools and parts are available when needed.Cost Savings: Lowering waste and preventing unnecessary "emergency" orders.Improved Efficiency: Optimizing workflows to stop material hoarding on jobsites.
