Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting

We are partnering with a global, publicly traded company that is investing in the depth of its accounting team. This is a chance to contribute to a well-established financial reporting function, bringing your technical accounting skills to an organization operating at scale across international markets!This Senior Accountant will be a hands-on contributor to external reporting and technical accounting within a complex, matrixed, multi-geography organization. You'll work closely with experienced accounting leadership and gain meaningful exposure to the financial reporting operations of a publicly traded company.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and assist in the review of SEC filings, including 10-K and 10-QSupport technical accounting research and documentation on complex US GAAP mattersCollaborate with global business units to ensure consistent application of accounting standardsAssist with regulatory reporting, internal controls, and SOX complianceContribute to the improvement of financial reporting processes and close proceduresRequirementsActive CPA license or actively pursuing (strongly preferred)2+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm) and/or experience at a publicly traded companyExposure to SEC reporting, involvement in 10-K and 10-Q preparationSolid foundation in US GAAP and regulatory reportingExperience working in or supporting a global, complex, matrixed environmentDetail-oriented with a curiosity for technical accounting and a drive to growIf you're a public accounting professional ready to make the move to industry, or you've already transitioned and are looking for a role with more complexity and global scope — I'd love to hear from you!Reach out directly to lh@hoxtoncircle.com or apply below.
